Antwerps best kept Japanese secret

At the mere age of 12 Sushi-chef Desmond Teoh started helping out (after school) in the restaurant of his father until the end of secondary school. The family restaurant Rojak Kerang is famous in Gurun, Malaysia for its signature dish with Calamares.

Desmond wasn’t only thrown in the life of gastronomy, but he fell in love with it.

Arrived in Belgium, Desmond was eager to learn more about different types of kitchens. Eventually after 10 years experience in the Chinese kitchen and 9 years experience in the Japanese Kitchen and creating his own signature dishes, he opened his own restaurant.

Few people actually know that the idea of Sushi originates from China. So the combination of his experience in the Chinese and the Japanese kitchen is a good match.

Fuji-San stands out for its fresh products and its big variety in fish. Everything is made at the moment of delivery, to guarantee the freshness.
